How to make hard choices

By understanding how we make decisions - can we now make better ones?

Ruth Chang, lawyer and philosopher discusses what it means to make hard decisions and how these choices reflect the individuals that we are.

Young professionals have so many decisions to make in those early stages of their career, from whether to pursue a career based in the city or in a more regional setting; to which proposal to put forward at a meeting.

In the space of difficult decisions we have the opportunity to place ourselves behind an option by reasons created by us, not dictated to us.

As Ruth Chang eloquently puts it : ” we become the authors of our own lives”.

This is a great video. I never thought about decision making in that way before – an eye-opener!
